Three in One from SNADS

STURMINSTER Newton Amateur Dramatic Society – known as SNADS – has a long record of staging original, often locally written plays, and the autumn production, on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th October, features three new short plays written and directed by company veteran Craig White.

Three In One brings some interesting and mature themes to entertain the audience at the Exchange, with both performances starting at 7.30pm.

The themes of Barney are disability and friendship. The play explores how disability is not a barrier, the power of friendship, the dangers of infidelity and the role played by a dog called Barney.

In the second play, Double Glazed, the message is drink up your tea, dear – what a difference a cuppa makes.

And in Blood Sport, nothing is quite what it seems. It may sound like Tally ho! But it is hunting deep into the imagination.

The ticket price includes tea and cake. The company warns that the plays are suitable for an adult (18-plus) audience d because of strong language, mature themes and some nudity.
