A classic thriller for autumn

SALISBURY’s always reliable Studio Theatre will be staging one of the classic dramas of the 20th century, Emlyn Williams’ Night Must Fall, at the theatre in Ashley Road from 11th to 19th October.

Directed by Sally Marshall and Sophie Townsend, this psychological thriller is the dark story of a young man who gets a job as personal assistant to a bed-ridden widow, Mrs Branson – as Dan insinuates himself into her life, it becomes clear that he has ulterior motives.

Dan Barge plays Dan, with Joanna Daniel as Mrs Branson. Nick Goodman plays the Lord Chief Justice, Clare Green is Olivia Grayne, Matthew Hodgson is Hubert Laurie, Stephanie Mutton plays Nurse Libby, Lucy Salmon is Mrs Terence, Antonia Harding is Dora Parkoe, and Jamie Pullen is Insp Belsize.

The play opens on Friday 11th at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinée at 2.30 pm and then from Monday 14th to Saturday 19th at 7.30pm.
