Beauty is about to sleep in Salisbury

ONE of the most popular fairy tale pantomimes is the 2024 choice at Salisbury Playhouse, where Lottie Mae O’Kill plays the title role in Sleeping Beauty, running from 4th December to 12th January.

Ryan McBryde returns to Salisbury Playhouse to direct the show, once again written by Plested, Brown and Wilsher, with Claudia Kariuki as Fairy Frappucino, Neal Craig as King Arthur Rightus, Scotty Armstrong as Dame Nanny Fanny Adams, Natasha O’Brien as Fairy Badflix and Joseph Peacock as Mike the Magnificent.

It’s the third year that Wiltshire Creative has welcomed this writing team, and follows the success of last year’s Dick Whittington, which was nominated for Best Pantomime at the 2024 UK Pantomime Association Awards.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure as Princess Stella falls under the wicked curse of evil Fairy Badflix, doomed to sleep for a hundred years. Can her loyal friends and family break the spell? Will the forces of good triumph over evil? And is there a charming prince in Salisburyshire ready to save the day?

The main cast have wide experience in theatre, musicals and pantomime, but for the two swings, Brandon Thompson and Bella Donald, the Salisbury panto will be their professional stage debut.
