REVIVE Theatre has a short tour of Dorset with the hilarious farce One Man Two Guvnors, starting at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne from 26th top 28th September.
Richard Bean’s farce is adapted from a famous 18th century Venetian comedy, Carlo Goldoni’s The Servant of Two Masters. It is the story of a hapless idiot, Francis Henshall, who tries to juggle two bosses, both bent on nefarious plans. The play was staged in an acclaimed production at the National Theatre starring James Corden.
Revive will be at the Electric Palace in Bridport on Friday 4th October and Saturday 5th, and at the Mowlem Theatre at Swanage, 11th and 12th October 7.30pm.
