Snow Mouse returns for tenth year

ONE of the most enchanting stage stories for children, Snow Mouse returns to Bath’s Egg theatre this Christmas for the tenth consecutive year, from Friday 29th November to Sunday 5th January.

This “delightful” (The Stage) seasonal tale for the very young, performed in the Roper Room, is perfect for children aged six months to four years old and their families.

Snow Mouse transports the audience to the snow-covered woods, where a child hurries to put on their winter clothes so they can run outside and play in a sparkly new world. Just as they are starting to feel a bit lonely, they find a sleeping mouse buried under the soft white flakes. Sliding, tumbling and laughing, they explore the winter wonderland together and keep each other safe and warm from the winter freeze.

Audiences can join two new friends on their adventures in a magical forest full of play, puppetry and music, in this production, which was awarded four stars in Time Out. Sharing the role at various performances, Snow Mouse is performed by Caroline Garland and Oliver Langdon and is presented by The Egg together with Travelling Light Theatre Company.

Also appearing at The Egg, in the Main Auditorium, this Christmas (29th November to 11th January) is Robin Hood, written by Daniel Bye, “one of the most astute and stylish theatre makers around” (The Stage).
